Hyperbaric contingency
The hyperbaric contingency at NUI is designed to cover the clients’ needs for a hyperbaric reception centre in connection with possible evacuation of divers under pressure from a vessel or platform.
To meet this demand NUI has established a purpose-built receiving and decompression facility for all types of hyperbaric rescue units, including hyperbaric lifeboats. The facilities are able to transfer and accommodate up to 24 divers at a pressure equivalent to 360 MSW.
