IMCA’s Global Summit – held on 28– 29October 2026 in Antwerp, Belgium – is the marine contracting industry’s flagship event, bringing together more than 400 business leaders, decisionmakers, and technical experts from the marine contracting industry, as well as energy companies, national regulators, and academics, to debate key industry trends.
The two-day event will address today’s technical challenges, and chart a course for 2030, defining how IMCA Members will work together to advance technical excellence and global standardisation,champion a safe, skilled, and diverse workforce, and support sustainability and operational efficiency in line with IMCA’s new strategy, which will be unveiled at conference.
Through in-depth discussion and collaboration, the event will tackle the challenges and opportunities shaping offshore operations and will deliver actionable technical insights while addressing the sector’s current practical challenges.
The programme will bring together the core operational pillars, such as the technical content that IMCA is known for,including diving, dynamic positioning, ROV, survey, safety and security, and lifting and rigging as well as sessions on People, Advocacy, Sustainability through keynotes and presentations from industry experts, engaging panel discussions, and interactive sessions.
The Summit features extensive networking opportunities, including the Global Summit Gala Dinner on 28 October, and will celebrate best practice and outstanding achievement at the 2026IMCA Awards.
The Keynote speaker for this year will be: Chris Jewell, Explorer and Motivational Speaker and one of the leading divers in the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue in Thailand
