As part of NUI’s 50th Anniversary, we invite you to an open and immersive day at our facilities in Bergen. NUI Open Day offers a rare opportunity to explore one of Europe’s leading centres for commercial diving, hyperbaric technology, and subsea-related services — from the inside.
What You’ll Experience at Open Day at NUI
We will start the day with food and refreshments, and visitors may find that a few pleasant surprises follow them home.
Throughout the day, visitors will gain insight into how NUI works at the intersection of safety, technology, and operational experience,built over five decades of continuous development.
Discover NUI’s Core Expertise
You’ll be introduced to NUI’s key areas of competence, including:
· Hyperbaric Lifeboat Reception Facility
· Chamber- and Diving Control Room
· Technical Pressure Testing
· Gas Laboratory Services
· NUI Compact Chest Compression Device (NCCD)
These areas form the backbone of NUI’s contribution to saferand more efficient underwater operations worldwide.
In addition; Equinor will contribute with livedemonstrations of their USV, AUV, and underwater mini‑drone, whilehistorical diving demonstrations will be delivered separately by the DivingHistory Association.
Guided Tours and Live Insights
During facility tours, you’ll experience:
· Our hyperbaric and testing infrastructure
· Selected systems and technologies in operation
· Short technical talks and mini presentationsfrom NUI specialists
The tours are designed to be informative yet accessible,allowing both industry professionals and curious visitors to engage inmeaningful dialogue with our experts.

Open Day at NUI is also about people. Throughout the daythere will be:
