New NUI-Advisor

We are proud to welcome Janne Petteri Lahtinen to NUI AS Advisory Services as Consultant/Advisor.

Janne brings extensive offshore and maritime experience, with a strong background in subsea operations, diving support vessels, and safety-critical environments.

His background spans the full offshore lifecycle, from shipyard operations to senior roles on advanced DP vessels, combined with expertise in project execution, safety management, and operational leadership in complex offshore projects

In addition to his operational experience, Janne is currently a Senior Lecturer in Maritime Studies and serves as Dynamic Positioning Senior Instructor and Head of Training Centre at the Nautical Institute, bringing a strong combination of hands-on expertise and industry best practice.

As a testament to his capabilities, Janne has already been deployed on assignment for one of Norway’s largest oil & gas operators, in the role as Technical Client Representative.
