Starting January 1st, 2026, OFHB will serve as the members' review body for applications related to the funding of diving-related research and development projects.

The following simple guidelines apply:

1. Applications will be routed directly to the NUI CEO to safeguard against improper handling and information leakage.
2. All applications and supporting documents will be stored within the NUI system in a dedicated folder to which only the CEO has access.
3. The NUI CEO will forward the application to the Chair of the OFHB Board, or to another person designated by the OFHB Board.
4. The OFHB Board will review applications on an ongoing basis at the first board meeting following receipt of the application. Exceptions may be made if the OFHB Chair or a designated board member determines that the matter is urgent.
5. Once OFHB has completed its review, the applicant may be informed directly by OFHB, or the NUI CEO may manage communication with the applicant on behalf of OFHB if deemed appropriate..

Questions may be directed to NUI CEO Rolf Røssland (ofhb@nui.no).
