NUI will this week start testing a new concept for rehabilitation and training of COPD patients. The patient will conduct physical activities in an atmosphere consisting of a Heliox gas Mixture. By using this gas mixture, the patients will breathe more easily and feel more comfortable during their physical training.

The pilot is undertaken together with doctors and physiotherapists at the Lung department at Haukeland University Hospital. The pilot is also supported by #innovasjonNorge.
