The Norwegian Environmental Agency  has awarded funding to  NUI, together with the  Norwegian Institute of Marine Research, for a comparison study  of NUI’s new gastight sediment sampler, against the traditional grab sampling  technique.

The sediment samples will be  analyzed for organic compounds, inorganic gases and metals such as mercury.

The project will start in Q3 2017 and  the result of the project will be ready by the end of 2017
