We would like to thank all participants, speakers and exhibitors for two great days. Looking forward to see you in 2021.

The Seminar

NUI AS, will on behalf of The Association of Operators for Hyperbaric Lifeboat Reception Facilities, hold the next Bergen International Diving Seminar on the 13th and 14th of November 2019.

For the 2019 seminar we aim to repeat the previous 2017 success. Then 169 participants representing 77 Companies and Organisations in 10 countries enjoyed two very good days in Bergen listening to the 28 speakers and participating in lively discussions.

In 2019 the slogan for the seminar will be “Are we adapting to a volatile market?” and the presenters from authorities, research institutions and major companies will be challenged to tell their view on this.

Meeting Place

The Diving seminar is the main meeting place for professionals and academics in the commercial diving industry, and is a valuable arena for expanding your network. You will also meet people involved in other parts of subsea intervention industry.

Goal

We hope that this years slogan (“Are we adapting to a volatile market”) and the presentations will provide all participants a view into how the industry have changed during the past years turbulence. How has the operators, contractors and sub-contractors adapted?

Also in 2019 the intention is to have a small exhibition in direct connection to the seminar. We have access to both indoor and outdoor space.

Both IMCA and DMAC is arranging meetings to coincide with this year’s event in Bergen. Both will hold their meetings on the 12th November.

Location

In 2019 the seminar will be held i Scandic Flesland Airport hotel just 300 meter from the airport exit. You can choose to walk or use one of the shuttlebusses leaving just outside the airport every 10 minutes for the transit.
